With the forthcoming Purple (D) Line Extension, the surrounding area was in danger of upzoning, which would allow for big developments to be constructed in the Little Ethiopia area. We attended several meetings and advocated with the council district and different city departments to protect and preserve Little Ethiopia from these potential development projects.
